What Cheryl Supports

Support for Perimenopause and Menopause

While there is more awareness than ever about the symptoms of perimenopause and menopause, the impact on body and mind can be more difficult to navigate than we expect – but you don’t have to go through it alone.

Relationship counselling

Our intimate relationships need nourishing in order to thrive. Discover a safe space to express your feelings without judgement, learn how to better understand each other’s perspectives and develop healthier interaction patterns.

Therapy for Depression

We all feel blue sometimes, our emotions are what make us human. But depression is different to facing the usual ebbs and flows of sorrow and joy – it barges into your life.

Anxiety Treatments

If you feel persistently or disproportionately anxious – or cannot attribute your anxiety to anything – and it’s preventing you from living your life, that’s when anxiety becomes a problem.

Counselling for Trauma and PTSD

Experiencing trauma is part of life’s journey. Most of us will experience some kind of traumatic event in our life, but there’s no rule as to what that looks like – it’s how we react to trauma that impacts us.

Counselling for Stress

Juggling work, family time, relationships and our social lives is the norm in today’s fast-paced world, the demands of which can exacerbate feelings of stress.

Counselling for Self Esteem and Self Confidence

The relationship we have with ourselves can be one of the most tumultuous, but is one of the most crucial to nurture – how we feel about ourselves plays a big part in our mental health, overall wellbeing and happiness.

About Cheryl

what Cheryl's clients say

Daniella, aged 53

“I've been working with Cheryl for some time now and I genuinely cannot recommend her highly enough. From the very first session, Cheryl created a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space that allowed me to open up about ongoing issues I've struggled with for years. Cheryl has a wonderful way of gently guiding you towards insights that feel both empowering and encouraging. She listens with such care and understanding, always making me feel heard and respected.

Through our sessions, I've been able to start making real progress in working through unresolved challenges, something I had previously found so daunting. Thanks to Cheryl's support, I feel I've made significant strides forward and for the first time in a long time, I feel better equipped to navigate life's challenges. I'm so grateful for the work we've done together, and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone seeking a kind, skilled and compassionate therapist.

Sarah, aged 40

“My work with Cheryl changed my life, there is no other way to put it. As a person who suffers from anxiety, with a very complex background, she helped me break the cycle and navigate life changing events. Our journey together has given me confidence that things can be different for me.

Jane, aged 38

“I was totally lost when I began to work with Cheryl. She has been recommended but I'd seen numerous therapists before and so didn't have amazingly high hopes that she would be any different to anyone else I'd seen previously. Her insight to the root of my issues and symptoms were incredible. In 10 years she was the first person to recognise that I was in an abusive relationship and identify how the subtle threats, isolation and suffocation were occurring and the impact it was having on me. Cheryl was kind but professional and offered a helpful outlook from the past and the present to support me to the future. I actually owe her my freedom.

Steven, aged 51

“I met Cheryl during one of the hardest times in my life. I felt like I had lost everything that once gave my life meaning and purpose. Going through a divorce and then suddenly losing someone so important to me felt unbearable. I didn’t know how I would move forward.

Cheryl’s patience and compassion were a lifeline for me. She supported me when I was struggling to find my footing again. In the middle of all the turmoil, the decision to start therapy with Cheryl is without doubt one of my better decisions. Cheryl challenged me to look at areas of my life that I had either ignored or been too afraid to look at, therapy is not for the faint hearted! But I'm so glad I stuck with it because so much growth and change happened as a result.. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone seeking therapy.
